Launched node and job monitoring covering core business flows Significantly faster alert response and less manual inspection

Project Overview

A new project adding monitoring capabilities to the company’s BaaS (Blockchain-as-a-Service) platform. By using scheduled jobs to watch the status of the platform’s nodes and raising timely alerts when anomalies appear, it improves the stability and maintainability of the entire BaaS platform.

Technical Architecture

  • Core framework: Spring Boot
  • Languages: Java & Kotlin
  • Monitoring scripts: Shell

Key Features

1. Node status monitoring

The project’s core capability is one or more scheduled jobs that periodically check the health and running state of every service node on the BaaS platform (blockchain nodes, API services, and so on).

2. Automated alerting

When a monitoring job detects a node anomaly (an interrupted process, connection timeout, sync error, or the like), the system automatically triggers alerts, notifying operations and development staff by SMS, email, or other channels so issues get a fast response.

Usage (Example)

Configure monitoring jobs

# application.yml
monitor:
  jobs:
    - name: "node-health-check"
      cron: "0 */5 * * * ?" # 每5分钟执行一次
      targets:

Start the service

java -jar target/baas-monitoring-service.jar
